Well, we’re one-quarter of the way through the year! Can’t believe it, this year has already flown by so quickly.
The overall goal of my weight loss journey this year is, of course, to lose weight! (I’m aiming for dropping 30 pounds). But, what I’m also seeking is to tone up.
I’m getting married this year and I want to look great in my dress! Now, even if I don’t lose the 30 pounds, if I can at least get these areas toned up, I’ll be happy.
Welcome to March! It’s time for me to do my monthly check-in on how my weight loss journey went for the month of February.
Let’s just say my New Years Resolution is off to a rocky start…
I grew up Catholic. Although I now don’t attend a Catholic church, I do still practice Catholic customs. I attend a non-denominational church, so it’s totally okay for me to practice how I want to!
Anyway, every year, I participate in lent. That means, no meat on Fridays (or Ash Wednesday) and I give something up for the entire 40 days.
If you’ve ever been pregnant, you know that your doctors closely monitor you blood pressure. Having high blood pressure can mean some pretty scary complications for your pregnancy!
I know what you’re thinking: where have you been? Yes, I kind of left this blog in the lurch for a little while. I began writing bi-weekly articles for Odyssey and that seemed to take up my time in terms of writing.
Also, I kind of did something really huge. I had a baby!
