Welcome to March! It’s time for me to do my monthly check-in on how my weight loss journey went for the month of February.
Let’s just say my New Years Resolution is off to a rocky start…
I’ve been weighing myself weekly, every Monday morning. I’ve gathered up my weigh-ins and here’s where I am:
February 5th – 188.8 lbs
February 12th – 188.8 lbs
February 19th – 190.8 lbs
February 26th – 192.8 lbs
Well, as you can see, my weight went in the exact opposite direction! I can’t say I’m not disappointed, but I can’t say I’m not surprised either.
I’m a mom to a 3 month old baby boy and I work full-time from home. Not to mention, I have my little one with me all day. So basically, I work two full-time jobs simultaneously.
I won’t lie to you. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Sure, it’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it! I love my job and I obviously love my baby.
Unfortunately, the long hours make it near impossible to find time to work out. My fiancé is incredibly helpful but he works, too. He often works late.
Typically what happens is that by the time he gets home, we make dinner, and relax for a little bit: it’s already time for bed.
Now, this doesn’t happen every night. I can sometimes squeeze in a workout on a night or two. But it’s just not enough.
I’m working on trying to make it more of a priority!
Starting in March
Yesterday, I weighed myself again to get my starting point for the month.
March 1st – 190.8 lbs
So, I lost a couple pounds in 2 days, that’s great! Anyway, I’m thinking of changing the day I weigh myself, probably Wednesdays!
